AI Policy
How Tallest Tree Digital uses artificial intelligence in our work and on this site.
Our position
AI is a tool. We use it to do better work, faster — not to substitute for editorial judgment. We don’t ship AI-generated content as if it were original analysis, and we don’t train third-party models on client data.
How we use AI internally
- Research assistance and synthesis
- Drafting and editing first passes
- Code generation, debugging, and refactoring
- Data analysis and visualization
- Routine support routing and triage
Every AI-assisted output is reviewed by a human at Tallest Tree Digital before it goes to a client or onto a public surface.
How we don’t use AI
- We don’t publish AI-generated content under a human byline without substantive review and revision
- We don’t share confidential client data with public AI services in ways that could surface it to other users
- We don’t auto-respond to client communications without a human in the loop
TopicalBoost
Our SaaS product, TopicalBoost, uses AI for two narrow tasks: identifying entities (people, organizations, concepts) in editorial drafts, and suggesting title tags and meta descriptions for editor review. The AI structures content; it does not generate content. Editors remain in control of what publishes.
Data we send to AI services
When we use AI tools (Claude, OpenAI, Google Gemini) in client work, we may send non-confidential client information — for instance, a draft we’re editing, anonymized SEO data, or code we’re refactoring. We do not send proprietary client business data, financial information, or identifiable end-user data through public AI APIs without the client’s explicit approval.
Crawlers on this site
We allow legitimate search-engine and AI-research crawlers (Googlebot, Bingbot, GPTBot, Perplexity, ClaudeBot, and similar) to access this site. We may block crawlers that ignore rate limits, scrape aggressively, or do not identify themselves.
Updates
If our use of AI materially changes, we’ll update this page. Last updated 2026-05-21.
